A HIGHLAND EXPERIENCE
Flock to Frock
Sheep, tartan and a little bit of Thistle & Cloth.
FROM FLEECE TO CLOTH
The Highland Flock to Frock Experience
Come and spend some time with us at our home in Brora, right on the NC500, in a beautiful rural setting just a short distance from the sea.
Flock to Frock gives you the chance to meet our sheep, including our Merinos, and discover a little about the journey from fleece to cloth. Merino fleece is the same type of fibre used in the cloth from which we create many of our Thistle & Cloth dresses and kilts, so you can see where the story begins, right here in the Highlands.
Enjoy an Irn-Bru and a taste of Scotland, with locally sourced pastries from Highland Pâtissier, while spending time amongst the flock and taking in the Highland scenery.
There will be plenty of sheep, tartan and good Highland hospitality. You can simply relax and enjoy the surroundings, or choose a more hands-on experience and try some traditional kilt-making skills.
It’s a chance to slow down, meet the sheep and discover the story behind the cloth, from flock to frock.
